"OTHER SIGHT" is a project investigating the effects of migration on society. As an emigree myself, I examine the issue of the high rate of emigration in my home country of Lithuania. Recently a new phenomenon has arisen in Lithuania: re-immigration. After several years abroad, a large number of Lithuanians have in the meantime returned home to Lithuania. The stories and fortunes of these returnees are of particular interest to me. In the course of personal interviews I asked them about their experiences of integration, national identity, their hopes, aspirations and personal motivation.
